This work: Simple Blessings is about the many times I have been blessed by God in my life. I used balsa wood to sculpt the crackers, gesso each one and complete painting them each in oils. I then stained and painted a panel in acrylic, finishing by mounting the painted crackers on the panel.
Presently Simple Blessings is one of the featured works in a new book: Epitaphs-what dreams may come by Cindi Zech Rhodes and Denise Kufus Weyhrich. (p.97)
